I am making history this year at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. In their 43 years of bringing this amazing festival to the people, I am the first person to ever do a completely raw food “cooking”demonstration at their event. I am so honored to be providing something so vastly different to this foodcentric festival. This will be Louisiana inspired food like you’ve never seen before and I cannot wait to share my delicious raw dessert with y’all.
Back in January when I received a letter from the festival folks inviting me to participate, I was floored. What an honor to be included, let alone be given the green light to prepare the first raw food demonstration dish EVER! Fast forward and the cubes are out and the city is buzzing with talk of festival and I am here to give you the skinny on the details.
